Time to Celebrate You

Today is July 4th, which is Independence Day in America, a day marked by celebrations, fireworks, and honoring of our history.

I would like to invite you to celebrate you and all you have accomplished.

It’s very important that you start to embrace this idea of acknowledging yourself and acknowledging what you’ve created so far in your life. Acknowledging all the times you have come through for yourself, the things you have done, what brought you here, and really celebrating who you are and what you’ve done.

The opposite word of celebration could be considered scarcity. And scarcity is when we feel deficient. It’s when we feel like we’re not enough. When we live in a deficient or scarcity mindset it really starts to become a habit, and we do very real damage to ourselves. So anytime you’re starting to feel that sense of scarcity and you feel withdrawn, I want you to start recognizing that you are in a place of scarcity.

And what do you need to do? You need to step into that energy of celebration.

So, let’s start today by celebrating.

Here’s what you want to do. Start writing out 50 accomplishments, and creations, whatever times when you overcame fears or even when you won the 5th-grade spelling bee. You can work all week long, because you’re teaching your brain to remember things and notice things and you may spend 15 minutes right now working on it, and then go away from it, and today sometime around lunch or dinner, you will have a – oh! I remembered one. That’s how this is supposed to work. Keep adding to it, and just keep going. Nothing’s too small, nothing’s too big. Just keep doing it.

I would love for you to share one thing you are celebrating about you.

With Love & Gratitude,

Holly
